Scope and Contents This is a large photograph album, mostly empty, dating from the 19th century and containing seven photographs and one engraving.The first photograph shows the "Old High School" building, now occupied by the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation. It is captioned: "Old High School, now a part of Surgical Ward of the Edinburgh Infirmary, 1878". These newsletters were produced in honour of the 250th and 100th anniversaries of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the 100th anniversary of the Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion.
